Transitions such as changing the country of residence and job often cause stress and psychological concerns that can affect you, your partner or children. Especially when some of you has been less in favour of the move overseas, or one is working all day while the other stays at home alone or with children.

Even without adaptation troubles, differences - fascinating in the beginning - might become tricky for intercultural couples.

Still, there are far more expected and unexpected situations in the life of every couple and family that can put substantial pressure on your relationships and lead you all to the breaking point.

Please remember that when your couple or family come to me for therapy, first of all I encourage or help you to (re)build interactions and communication with one another to let you gain strength and joy from being together.
